Spring Camporee at Coggeshall Farm Museum
Have you ever dreamed of a simpler time with no cell phones and computers and the only thing waking you up in the morning is a rooster. Well, if you answered yes we have a program for you! A weekend “retreat” on the beautiful acres of Colonial Coggeshall Farm in Bristol, RI. You will enjoy the sights and sounds of a real working colonial farm as well as have the opportunity to earn either Sustainability Merit Badge or Veterinary Medicine Merit Badge.
If you already have the merit badge or just want to have fun, we have a program for you. Life on a colonial farm takes everyone to chip in to do the chores and feed the animals, if you aren’t taking a badge you can help with the farm! Period games will be played throughout the day as well as a colonial dutch oven cooking competition
