50 miler Trek

Come join us on a 7 day 6 night Trek through beautiful Washington County RI.   This trek will be an intense high adventure style backpacking trip Starting from Burlingame Park and ending at Yawgoog.  Along the way you will complete a service project, learn how to fly fish, go horseback riding, and see beautiful spots of RI that you can only see on foot.   The crew is limited to Scouts who will be at least 14 years of age by April 1 and have some backpacking experience.  The Crew will earn the 50 Miler Award on this Trek. 

There will be a Crew meeting/parent info meeting that must be attended during the last week of February (date and time TBD).  There will also be a shakedown overnight program at Buck Hill Scout Reservation on March 16-17.   The fee includes food and programs.
