24th Annual Moby Dick Scouting Golf Classic

You are cordially invited to participate in the 24^th Annual Moby Dick Scouting Golf Classic presented by St. Anne’s Credit Union.  The tournament will be held at Montaup Country Club in Portsmouth, RI on Monday, July 20, 2015.

Since its inception more than two decades ago, the Moby Dick Scouting Golf Classic has raised over $400,000 for Scouting programs in Rhode Island and the southcoast region of Massachusetts.  Proceeds from the tournament will help provide quality Scouting programs throughout the Narragansett Council.

The Narragansett Council serves young people in kindergarten through age 20 in southeastern New England through numerous and diverse programs.  In 2014, nearly 12,000 young people, led by some 3,500 volunteer leaders, participated in programs offered by the Council.  Last year, local scouts collected over 140,800 pounds of food for local food pantries and the 263 young men who earned the rank of Eagle Scout contributed over 27,000 hours of service to their local communities.  The Council’s longstanding tradition of delivering quality programs to the youth in our communities is due in large measure to the generosity of corporations and individuals that support the Moby Dick Scouting Golf Classic.
