WHO - This event is for Scouts BSA members. 

WHAT - A Klondike Derby is a winter sled-based Scouting event where Patrols travel with a sled full of supplies to various activity stations and compete against other patrols for prizes. 

WHERE - Camp Aquapaug - 1620 Ministerial Road West Kingston, RI 02892

Check-in for camping with Camp Master in the Camp Master Cabin ( A on the Camp Map)

Event check-in will occur at the Flag Raising at 9:00 AM on Saturday outside of Knowles Shelter (F on the Camp map)

Primary parking will be on the Parking Field (B on the camp map) when you arrive at camp take the fork to the left to enter the parking field. 

WHY -  To compete and show your dominance in Scouting Skills competitions! 

WHEN - Troops may arrive Friday night to camp and check-in at the Camp Master Cabin. The Klondike Derby events will start Saturday morning at 9:00 AM with activity stations open at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be by Troop from 12:30 - 1:00 PM and the events will remain open during lunch. Event's end at 2:45 PM. Sled Race begins at 3:00 PM and awards are given out at 4:00 PM 

Program - Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM 

Check-in - 9: 00 AM for sleds, but Troops can check-in Friday night for camping
