
Chartered Organization Representative Training (Virtual)
WHAT - This training is designed and intended for adult volunteers. In this training class you will learn how to achieve true collaboration between the Chartered Organization Representative (COR), BSA professionals, and the Chartered Organization. You will learn the basics of BSA programs & standards and the role of the COR. Charter Organization Representatives that complete this one-hour course are trained for the COR position and can wear the “Trained” patch on their Scout Uniform. You do not need to be a Charter Organization Representative to take this course.
Meet your Instructor - Paul is a member of the Narragansett Council Training Committee and committed to providing high quality adult training. Paul’s many years Scouting of experience includes vast program experience in; Scouts BSA, Venturing and Commissioner Service, Unit Committee and Charter Organization relations.

WHO - This class is open to adult volunteers.
WHEN: This class will be held virtually over one session:
January 10, 2022 7:00PM-8:00PM EST.
Participants must attend full session to complete the class.
After registering, Participants will receive a link and login information via email the day of scheduled class.
HOW - This Training/Workshop/Class will be taught in a virtual classroom. The class has a capacity of 15 participants. Small classroom size provides all students with the opportunity to share and interact with the presenter and other participants. Students should be prepared to be challenged and to join the conversation!
